Booksmarts Canada is an independent bookstore specializing in remaindered books, affordable best-sellers and unique giftware. It's our goal to make sure that you always pay less than cover price for our books and always find something unique and interesting in our giftware section.


Remainders are books that a publisher no longer needs for a variety of reasons. To create space, they'll sell these books to stores like ours at a discount. While some stores simply sell them at cover price, we sell them at a discount to you. Before publishers began selling remainders to stores like us, the books were sent to be destroyed. So, by purchasing these remainders, not only can we offer them to you at a great price, but we also keep them out of landfills and on your shelves, where they belong!


At Booksmarts Canada, you’ll find a wide selection of giftware in a variety of different styles and sensibilities. We work hard to find unique brands and designs in order to offer a more exclusive shopping experience to our customers, and we make sure to add items regularly, so there's always something new to be discovered!


At the moment, we do not have our inventory available to purchase online. However, we are working on a system for this, and hope to have it ready to go in the not-so-distant future.
